- Picture(s) should be scanned at the highest resolution available to you. We can edit the picture by either removing, cropping, adjusting light, removal of scratches and dust particles, touch up to remove unwanted features such as facial wrinkles, and even adding items to it to enhance the overall effect. However, the quality of the image will always depend on the quality of the original scan.
- We cannot reproduce copyrighted photographs without the written permission from the studio or photographer. If applicable, please submit a release with your order.
- Please indicate if there are specific color schemes that you prefer, or settings or scenes that you wish to have incorporated into the artwork. We will do the most to honor those requests. We have backdrops with beautiful sunsets, beaches, old Italian villages, clouds, marble and stone backgrounds....etc.
- Please provide us with the message you wish to convey. Indicate if there is specific text you wish to include which you will provide, or if you wish for us to author it.
- In the event you would like to use an existing poem from a known author, you must obtain a written statement from the author granting us permission to use their literary work.
- Once we have a draft(s) of your project, we will post it for a limited time on a private web page for you to view and approve before we print (excludes Monthly Calendar). We will provide you with the time and location of the web page. You will have two rounds in this phase to request any changes or edits to your artwork.
- A 50% deposit is required before starting the project with the balance due upon completion. All projects vary in length ranging from 2 - 4 weeks. We will start your project immediately upon receipt of the deposit. Once payment has been made in full, we will ship the artwork (framed where applicable) to you via postal mail.
- Pricing does not include the cost of shipping and handling.
- If you cancel your commissioned project after work has started, a cancellation fee by means of
the deposit applies.
- We may accept rush jobs at an increase of 50% of your total order. Birth Announcements are the exception provided you have already contacted us in advance, have chosen your final design and have made payment in full PRIOR to providing the last details such as name and date of birth of the newborn, stats, etc.
